I shall try to explain how I see the present foreign policy of America against Ron Paul’s more sensible approach.
We have been fighting in Afghanistan for over ten years and are getting absolutely nowhere. Afghanistan is America’s Vietnam.
The tribes in Afghanistan have not been fighting for ten years but for hundreds of years. America cannot change what has been inbred for that number of years. Many have tried and failed just as we shall.
Obama boasts about bringing our troops out of Iraq! He is lying to the American people- we were ordered out.
We had Gadaffi murdered and what have we achieved? Utter chaos and Libya will never have the decadent American democracy practiced in Libya.
We deposed Mubarak and that country is heading towards becoming a tyrannical Islamic state. So we have failed again. As for Syria, we had better learn from our mistakes and leave well alone.
We are scare mongered over Iran GETTING Nuclear weapons.
Ignoring the fact that North Korea, China, Russia, Israel Pakistan and goodness knows how many others already have them and yet we constantly bait Iran who may or may not ever have them. It really beggars belief. With regard to Iran threatening to close the Hormus Straight, they are simply posturing because of all our baiting of them. We do not require worrying whether it is closed or not, the Canadian pipeline will keep us in oil plus our own resources. Let all the Arab nations fight that war as they will be the ones affected if it should ever happen.
Iran does not want a war with America and the West, although that seems to be what our War mongers want.
Ron Paul states that we should only go to war when we are threatened.
We are being threatened, but not in far off lands but at our own borders. What does our present foreign policy do about that war?
Nothing! Well that is not exactly true, they send guns and money to our enemy to use against our own people.
Who are the crazy ones I ask?
We send billions of dollars to Pakistan who hate our guts, but our powers that be are running scared, so pay the enemy off- supposedly to keep us safe.
Are you kidding me?
We send one of our high technology drones (intact I might add) into Iran and say that with all of our technology it did not have a self destruct mechanism! Do they really think we are that gullible? Obviously they do think just that. What do the minions know about anything?
Well I for one think it was calculated.
We have left billions of dollars worth of equipment in Iraq for our enemies to use against us. I bet you that the same will happen when we eventually get high tailed out of Afghanistan.
So I ask all of you out there who prefer the present foreign policy against Ron Paul’s foreign policy and tell me – which makes more sense?
